Monday, May 29, 2017 — Users can now include payables as well as receivables in Xero reports. This feature is one of the latest additions to the Report Templates in Xero accounting software.

Creating Your Monthly Management Report Template

It’s easy to produce monthly management report templates in Xero! Follow these steps and you can create your own report template in just a few minutes!

1. After you finished creating your report template, you can head into your client’s Xero account and go to Reports > All reports > Adviser.

2. Once you’re in My Xero, click on Templates.

3. Click New Template.

4. Enter a name for your created template (ex: Monthly Management Report)

5. Include the reports that you need for your template. You can also include these reports for a much precise forecasting:

  • Aged Payables
  • Aged Receivables
  • Balance Sheet
  • Profit and Loss
  • Statement of Cash Flows

6. Adjust date range to “Last Month”.

7. Click Ready to Use.
